The Land and Water Boards of the Mackenzie Valley (LWBs) are pleased to announce the release of the Standard Water Licence Conditions Template, Version 2.4. This administrative update to the Template includes changes to water use regulation and reporting requirements for specific types of projects that use water for ice bridges in winter road construction. These changes reflect the revised LWB Reference Bulletin: Water Use and the associated Reasoning Annex, released in July 2024, which provide more detail on how water use, including ice-bridge water use, is regulated in the Mackenzie Valley.
The Template includes a Revision History Table that summarizes the changes in this Version and previous versions.
